Here comes the weekend.

jay nelson art, mollusk surf shop, weekend, summer, end of summer, made in san francisco, surf art,
While everyone is busy getting 'back-to-school' &
back to non-summer modes,
the Bay Area kicks right into summer with 90+ degree days.

I'm dreaming of floating around in a little boat like this,
feeling the cool ocean breezes &
hearing the slapping waves against the sides.

Enjoy your weekend, wherever it takes you.

Strewnfield by Thomas Campbell, Bolinas Museum

An Easter treat, for me, better than an egg hunt, was a little trip to the Bolinas Museum to see Thomas Campbell's Strewnfield exhibit.  So rich in color, form, collage--just like a basket rich in colorful eggs and smooth shapes.

Maybe Easter was the ideal day to see his work!
