Anyone who knows the Bay Area, knows that September kicks off our summer. You know, the nicest day of the season, just so happens to be the kids' first day
back at school.
And this year was
no different.
The old adage, "if you can't beat them, join them" works exceptionally well here. And join 'them' we did, with one of our sweetest 'summer' weekends spent over the Labor Day weekend (my birthday weekend) in my favorite little spot in West Marin.
The sounds of the ocean, friends, family, good food and long, sunny days at the beach...we'll take a bit of summer whenever we can get it!
